What will be deleted

When your data deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:

• Every share you created, including the encrypted payload, thumbnails and metadata
• Large files stored in encrypted chunks on box.sortia.de
• Failed-attempt counters tied to your shares

Your account, email address and sign-in stay intact. Anything you saved to your own device stays on your device.

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. Residual copies in backups are purged within a further 30 days.

Request data deletion

Enter the email address of your Box account. We confirm the request by email and then delete your shares. Your account stays open and you can keep using Box.
